Step 2 Add the Aquaphalt Asphalt Repair
Next, you’ll add the Aquaphalt into the pothole, making sure that you’ve got a fairly level amount throughout the whole pothole. Make sure to have it about an inch higher than the ground to account for compaction, as we’ll tamper it later to ensure that everything is smooth.

Step 3 Soak the Aquaphalt with Water
Now you’ll need to saturate the Aquaphalt to start the hardening process. You can’t use too much water here, so make sure the Aquaphalt is thoroughly soaked through.

Step 4 Compact the Aquaphalt into the Pothole
With your Aquaphalt wet, take your tamper and start tamping the asphalt down until it’s level with the existing ground. If you notice that the Aquaphalt is lower than the ground in areas, simply add some more, wet it and then tamper until your pothole is even and level with the existing ground.
