Working in a Store Support Centre, rather than a corporate headquarters, our leadership knows the most important people in the fabric of our company are our store associates and store leadership teams.

Michael Rowe

President

Mike Rowe
“I love working at The Home Depot because everyone brings their superhero cape to work everyday. If something needs to be done urgently or we have an issue to solve, we put on our capes and get it done!”

Michael Rowe serves as president of The Home Depot Canada, where he oversees sales and operations of 182 stores and approximately 28,000 associates.

Mike joined The Home Depot in 2006. Most recently, he was vice president of online, marketing and contractor services for The Home Depot Canada. In that role, he was responsible for marketing, advertising, e-commerce, installation services, contractor services, and strategy. He also served as chief financial officer, vice president of finance and contractor services, procurement and strategic business development for The Home Depot Canada. 

Prior to joining the company, Mike held positions of increasing responsibility at Maple Leaf Foods, Reckitt Benckiser and Procter & Gamble.

Mike has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Azmina Hussein

Regional vice-president, East

Azmina Hussein

Azmina Hussein is regional vice-president for The Home Depot Canada. She is responsible for the operations of 106 stores in eastern Canada.

Azmina joined The Home Depot in 1992 as a store cashier. She has held positions of increasing responsibility including, assistant store manager, store manager, sr. manager Canadian store operations and director of planning for the Merchandising Execution Team.

Most recently, Azmina held the position of district manager in the Greater Toronto Area and currently sits on the board of directors for The Home Depot Canada Foundation.

Vinod Nalajala

Vice-president, human resources and communications

Vinod Nalajala is vice-president, human resources and communications for The Home Depot Canada.

Vinod joined The Home Depot in 2001 as a sales associate. In 2004, he transitioned to the Store Leadership Program, and has held positions of increasing responsibility, including store manager, regional sales manager, senior manager of sales execution and district manager. Most recently, he served as vice-president of central operations, contact centres, asset protection and building services. Prior to joining the Company, Vinod worked in advertising, IT recruiting & staffing, as well as brand management at Saatchi & Saatchi India.

Vinod has a bachelor of commerce degree from the Indian Institute of Management and Commerce and an MBA in marketing from Osmania University - India.

Jim Recore

Vice-president, merchandising

Jim Recore
"I never take for granted the opportunity to bring our customers' projects to life with the products we sell in our stores."

Jim Recore is vice president merchandising for the Home Depot Canada. He is responsible for core merchandising, merchandise strategy, store environment, assortment planning, global sourcing, field merchandising, off-shelf and event organization, merchandising operations, merchandising execution, along with sustainability and ESG.

Jim joined Home Depot U.S. in 2010 as the director of private brand development. Most recently, he served as vice president of merchandising for lawn and garden, overseeing categories such as outdoor power, outdoor living, and cleaning.

Before joining Home Depot, Jim worked at Sears for 22 years in various roles, including Divisional Vice President of Craftsman Product Development.

Jim holds a Bachelors degree in Communications from State University of New York.

Serge Carestia

Vice-president, supply chain

Serge Carestia

Serge Carestia is vice-president of supply chain with The Home Depot Canada. Serge leads the supply chain team and is responsible for inventory, forecasting and replenishment, distribution, transportation, operations planning and project development.

Serge joined The Home Depot in 2011. Previously, he was vice-president, supply chain, at the Hudson's Bay Company, as well as holding senior supply chain leadership roles with Mark's Work Wearhouse, Canadian Tire and Kodak Canada Ltd.

Serge is a professional engineer with an industrial/mechanical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo.

Peter Muench

Vice-president, finance

Peter Muench

Peter Muench is vice-president of finance and procurement for The Home Depot Canada. He is responsible for Canadian financial planning and analysis, merchandising and marketing finance, operations finance, supply chain finance, internal audit, credit, real estate and procurement.

Peter joined The Home Depot in 2007 as director of finance. Most recently, he held the position of senior director of finance. Prior to joining the Company, Peter spent nine years with Procter & Gamble in a variety of finance, sales and integration roles.

Peter holds an Honours BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a CPA-CMA.

Mark Getty

Vice-president, operations

Mark Getty is vice-president of central operations, contact centres, asset protection and building services for The Home Depot Canada.

Mark joined The Home Depot in 1998 as an assistant store manager. He has held positions of increasing responsibility, including store manager, district manager, senior manager of strategy implementation, regional operations manager, director of Canada operations and senior director of merchandising operations. Most recently, Mark served as regional vice-president, where he led the operations of 106 stores in Eastern Canada.

Mark has a master's degree in business administration from York University and a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from York University.

Victor DiRisio

Vice-president, information technology

Victor DiRisio is vice-president, information technology for The Home Depot Canada.

Prior to joining in 2024, Victor was the executive vice-president and chief information officer at Home Trust, a Canadian OSFI regulated bank, where he was responsible for all information technology and project management operations.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Bachelor of Engineering Science from the University of Western Ontario, as well as a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University. 

Doug Graham

Vice president of e-commerce and marketing

Doug Graham
“Our team’s focus on the customer experience impresses and excites me everyday. Regardless of how our customers shop or where they are in their journey, they’re our reason.”

Doug Graham is the vice president of E-Commerce and Marketing for the Home Depot Canada. He is responsible for online commerce, online customer experience, marketing, advertising, data management & analytics.

Doug joined the Home Depot in 2010 as the director of merchandising for décor and most recently served at the sr. director of merchandising for hardlines. Prior to joining the company Doug held positions of increasing responsibility at Canadian Tire in supply chain and merchandising.

Doug holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Trent university.

Andre Vogl

General counsel

Andre Vogl

Andre Vogl serves as General Counsel for The Home Depot Canada, leading the legal team within the Canadian Division.  

Andre joined The Home Depot’s legal team in 2014, and most recently held the role of Senior Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining the Company, Andre practiced corporate and technology law at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.

Andre earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and studied law at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie.

Frank Logie

Regional vice-president, West

Frank Logie

Our dedicated associates consistently demonstrate their passion for providing exceptional customer service and going above and beyond to help our customers transform their projects into realities."

Frank Logie is the regional vice president for Western Canada where he is responsible for the operations of 76 stores.

Frank started at The Home Depot Canada in 2001 as a part-time hardware associate in Winnipeg. Throughout his career, he’s held roles of increasing responsibility in the field including assistant store manager, store manager and district manager.

In 2015, Frank joined the Merchandising Execution Team (MET) as the director of merchandising, field. In this role, he successfully oversaw the operations of MET across the entire division. Most recently, Frank held the position of senior director, merchandising operations where he led the merchandising operations portfolio, which includes the MET field teams, operations, planning, off shelf and events.

Aaron Jarosz 

Vice-president, contractor services 

Aaron Jarosz

Aaron Jarosz is the vice-president of contractor services where he oversees Pro, rental, home services and HD Supply. 

Aaron started at The Home Depot Canada in 2011 as a divisional product merchant and has held various roles of increasing responsibility within merchandising including senior director, merchandising, lumber and building materials.  

Most recently, Aaron lead the merchandising execution team (MET) consisting of field teams, MET operations, planning and capital initiatives, off-shelf and events, as senior director, merchandising operations.
