We’re committed to the health and safety of our customers and associates. You can either collect your order at the in-store service desk or choose contactless curbside pick-up and an associate will bring your order to your vehicle.

When placing an order online, select “Pick Up In Store” from the options in your cart.
Your Order is Ready for Pick-Up
After you receive an email that your order is ready, head to the store to collect your order from the in-store service desk. Remember to bring your order number and photo ID.

For contactless curbside pick-up, drive to the store and park in the designated area. There will be signage guiding your way. Have your order number and ID on-hand. Open the ready for pick-up email on your mobile device, tap the "I’m Here" button (or follow alternate instructions on the parking spot signage), and an associate will bring your order to you.
Note: Please remain in your vehicle. If you do need to exit your vehicle, please wear a mask and maintain a distance of 6 feet.
In-Store & Curbside Pick-Up FAQ

Curbside pick-up is available at all stores in Canada except Vancouver’s Cambie location.

In-store pick-up and curbside pick-up allow you to place an order online and pick up at a Home Depot store, saving you the regular shipping fees. It might also be a more convenient option for those who aren’t home during the day to accept packages or those who want to collect items quickly for a job site.
You can also select a pick-up date that is convenient for you — the day you place your order or up to 6 days later. If you need to reschedule, you can also change your pick-up date online.

The Home Depot’s curbside pick-up option offers you the convenience of placing an order online and picking up your item(s) at a Home Depot store. This feature not only saves you shipping fees, but also limits store traffic and increases social distancing. When you arrive at the store, park in the designated pick-up area and follow the instructions listed on the signage for a contactless pick-up experience.
Just follow these easy steps:
1. Add item(s) to your cart on homedepot.ca.
2. From your cart, select “Pick Up In Store” from the options under “How To Get It” and choose the store you would like to pick up from.
3. You will receive an initial Order Received email acknowledging receipt of your order, but wait until you receive an email that your order is ready for pick-up before heading over to your store.
4. Drive to the store with your order number and photo ID easily accessible. The person picking up the order must be the same person who placed the order or the person entered as an Alternate Pick-Up Person at the time the order was placed. Your photo ID must match one of these two names. Follow the signs in the parking lot to the designated pick-up area.
5. Open the ready for pick-up email on your mobile device and tap the "I’m Here" button (or follow alternate instructions on the parking spot sign).
6. Turn off your vehicle, stay inside and open your trunk. One of our associates will bring your order to your vehicle and place in your trunk.
7. Please remain in your vehicle. If you do need to exit your vehicle in the store parking lot, please wear a mask and maintain a distance of 6 feet.Curbside pick-up is valid only:
- At the specific store selected when the order is placed.
- During store business hours. Please confirm store hours prior to pick-up.Curbside pick-up is not valid at Garden Centres or with Garden Centre-only stores during statutory/civic holidays.

For easy order pick-up, please bring the order number and photo ID with you to the store. The person picking up the order must be the same person who placed the order or the person entered as an Alternate Pick-Up Person at the time the order was placed. We allow you to assign an Alternate Pick-Up Person when placing an order. Unfortunately, you can’t add or change an Alternate Pick-Up Person after an order has been placed. Your Alternate Pick-Up Person must have the order number and photo ID on-hand when collecting the order.

We will hold your item(s) until closing time two days after your selected date.
For your protection, if your complete order is not picked up within this timeframe, we'll cancel the order and issue a refund based on the original form of payment.

Yes. You can cancel your order if it's not yet picked up. For products that are being shipped to a store for pick-up, you can cancel online until the order is in transit. Check the Order Status page for a link to cancel. If the order is in transit, there will be a message that explains it can no longer be cancelled.
At this time, you can't cancel individual products through online cancellation. You can only cancel the entire order or all products in a single delivery/pick-up method.

To return an item, simply bring your order receipt to any Home Depot store location. Please refer to The Home Depot's current return policy for details.

To improve our customer service, we have introduced locker pick-ups. This allows you as a customer to skip the line at the service desk and head straight to the locker where you can pick up your order.

Most lockers are located at the front of the store. If you are unable to find them, please go the service desk for assistance.

The email notification letting you know that your item is ready for pick-up will contain additional instructions on how to access the locker. You can either scan the QR code from the email or input the 6-digit locker code to open the locker. Once you have retrieved the item, please make sure to close the locker.
*Curbside pick-up is available at participating The Home Depot Stores in Canada. Please wait for your ready for pick-up email before visiting the store for order pick-up. Curbside pick-up is not available for special or bulk-sized orders and is not available on statutory/civic holidays. There may be delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
Returning Online Orders is Free at Any Home Depot Store Within Canada
For your convenience, items purchased online can be returned to any of our Canadian stores within 90 days of purchase. Bring the item(s) and the order number to your local store for credit to your original tender or a Home Depot store credit. Merchandise must be returned in unused, like-new condition. Please see Return Policy Exceptions for further details.
Online returns can also be made by calling 1-800-628-0525 within 90 days of purchase. We'll arrange for your item to be picked up and returned, as well as provide you with a return authorization number (RA#).
