Gazebo Assembly
At the Home Depot, we strive to ensure a more complete, satisfactory customer experience. That’s why we offer the option of adding installation services to your order when purchasing a gazebo online. Please Note: Assemblies purchased after Oct 15 may be delayed until the following spring due to weather conditions.
What To Expect
1 Select Product and Services
- Shop homedepot.ca and select your gazebo
- Check the box under “Get It Installed,” select an assembly option and make sure you’ve entered the correct postal code
- Click “Add To Cart”, then complete your order
2 Schedule Assembly
- Within 24 hours of completing your order, the Installer will contact you by text message to schedule assembly
- Please ensure the gazebo site has been cleared of brush and debris prior to assembly
- For any questions/concerns related to your assembly, please call 1 (844) 770-5328
3 Delivery
- You will be notified about your delivery window after 4pm the day before your delivery
- You will receive a call up to 30 minutes prior to your delivery
- Please note that the delivery team is not equipped to assemble gazebos
4 Assembly
- The Installer will arrive at the scheduled time to assemble and anchor your new gazebo
- They will perform a cleanup and inspection, then advise on proper usage and maintenance for your new gazebo

- The Installer will fasten your gazebo to a level surface, whether a level deck, concrete, interlocking or patio stones
- Upon completion, the Installer will review the assembly with you and provide basic information about maintenance

- The Installer is not responsible for clearing off the work site prior to assembly
- No work will be done to build or level a base for your new gazebo
- Mileage expenses may apply if your assembly requires over 50 km travel from the store
- Damage to older, brittle patio stones or other base materials may occur during assembly. Additional charges may apply to fix them

- No; this service is only available to customers who have purchased a gazebo online from The Home Depot and purchased home delivery
- Similarly, this assembly service is available for Home Depot customers only and cannot be arranged for products purchased from other retailers

- Be sure to check your local building codes and ensure you have all required permits before placing your order. Check the product specifications for any additional required parts and/or materials. Remember, damage to older, brittle patio stones, concrete and wood may occur during installation. Additional charges may apply to fix them.

- Assembly can only be completed on flat, level ground with no more than a 6 inches grade. If your ground is more than 6 inches out of grade, you must level it or have our installers do it for you for an additional fee of $79. You’ll need a minimum clearance of 3 feet on all sides of your shed and that the area is free of tree branches, power lines and any other obstructions. We also recommend that you clear all grass from roughly 6 inches from around the base of the shed.

- The Installer will contact you by text message within 24 hours of completing your order to schedule your gazebo assembly. Please take your delivery time into account when scheduling your assembly appointment

- No. This service is for assembly and anchoring of a new gazebo only
- If you plan to take down and remove an existing gazebo and replace it on the same site, you must complete this work separately, in advance of your scheduled assembly

- This can vary by region, but this usually refers to the time of year when the ground freezes, which makes it difficult to level the ground. After you purchase your gazebo and assembly, your Installer will contact you within 24 hours to coordinate your assembly. Assembly season varies by market and weather. Gazebo assemblies purchased after Oct 15 may be delayed until the following spring.
