Christmas Centrepiece DIY

Add some style to your Christmas dinner table with this simple holiday centrepiece project. Make this festive centrepiece using white wash barnboards, live greenery and decorations.

Time:
  1. Step 1 Gather Materials

    Gather materials.

  2. Step 2 Measure

    Measure

    On your barnboard, measure and mark three 24-inch segments and two 5 7/8 -inch ends.

  3. Step 3 Cut

    Cut

    Cut along your marked lines using a circular saw.

  4. Step 4 Glue

    Glue

    Distribute glue evenly along the bottom face of two of your 24-inch boards.  Lay the remaining 24-inch board on your work table, and then place the glued boards standing up, on either side.

  5. Step 5 Clamp and Let Dry

    Clamp and Let Dry

    Ensure an even and tight seal between your boards, and then clamp on the bottom at both ends. Let dry for at least 20 – 30 minutes. 

  6. Step 6 Attach Ends

    Attach Ends

    Repeat gluing and clamping for the two ends of the box.

  7. Step 7 Decorate

    Decorate

    Decorate your centrepiece by filling it with live greenery, LED candles and lights and various Christmas decorations.
