There are 12 steps to completing this project:
All of the materials used in this project are available at your local Home Depot. Proceed to Step 2 to learn how to make Ring Toss or skip to Step 8 for Dominos.
For this project we used one piece of dowel and cut it into 8” pieces. We cut the pine shelving in half so we had two 18”x12” pieces.
Don’t forget you can get your wood cut at your local Home Depot! Just ask an associate for help.
We spray painted the dowel a bright blue, and the pine shelf white with Chalked paint.
Cut the rope into 8-12” pieces. Ask an associate for help if you need it.
Using duct tape in two different colours, tape the ends of the rope together to make 8 rings, 4 of each colour.
Using wood glue, adhere the dowel to the shelf. To secure it, use wood screws.
After the glue has dried and the game is secure, you can play your new ring toss.
Using a pencil and ruler, mark where the dots of the dominos will be placed on the wood.
Using the end of a mini foam roller and black craft paint, add the dots of the dominos, and use a paint brush to add the line down the centre.
To ensure the dominos will last in exterior weather, add a spray sealer.
Once the sealer is dried, enjoy your new game of dominos.
